DESCRIPTION: Apparently this is indeed a most unusual piece of pottery. Please Google Kenilworth Studios on their advanced search option. It would appear that Kenilworth Studios has been represented at some rather high end auction galleries. I'm a bit mystified as to the actual place that this art pottery vase was made. Treadway Galleries sold a Kenilworth Studios piece and described it as Longwy. T are other sites that describe an extremely similar vase as "Rare, Kenilworth Studios Handpainted Vase, from their Nippon Period." Six or seven of the first Google hits indicate the relative value of the vase. Definitive information gladly accepted and will be shared. Some sellers in addition to stating this piece is rare do not designate a price but, instead, state "price on request." I did not call to find the answer. T is no doubt that such a listing would indicate a price well above my asking price. A beautiful guaranteed antique piece that would certainly be at home in any Arts and Crafts setting. WOW!
