Kent 78 rpm Adaptor for Edison Disc Phonograph with Victor No. 2 Reproducer is an attachment for playing regular 78 RPM records on an Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph. It was produced by the Kent Company of Newark, New Jersey, which was the most well-known manufacturer of these adaptors. When the Kent Company initially began producing these adaptors, no reproducer was actually supplied with the attachment. Instead, the customer could purchase a seperate reproducer on their own and fit it to the adaptor. In this case, it has been mated with a Victor No. 2 Reproducer. This attachment is in fantastic condition. The reproducer has been recently rebuilt with fresh gaskets and sounds great. T are absolutely no pot metal problems on this one, which you usually encounter with these adaptors. Furthermore, the nickel plating is very nice and extremely shiny. Overall, a great item if you've been looking for a high-quality adaptor for your Edison. The combination of the Kent adaptor and Victor reproducer makes this set about the best method for listening to 78 rpm records on an Edison machine. Shipping: $7.95 Shipping + Insurance.
