KENTON HILLS Pottery Vase Lamp Base w/ Flowers WILLIAM HENTSCHEL Monogram c 1940Signature: impressed on the bottom with Kenton Hills mark and "176". There is an artist's monogram on the side of the vase which is probably a blurred William Hentschel monogram. I have seen a couple of very similar Kenton Hills vases decorated by Hentschel which had more legible monograms.Age: circa 1940Condition: very good condition. There are no chips, hairlines, scratches, stains, or repairs. The vase is drilled on the bottom (probably at the factory). The is a tiny white spot on the side of the vase that looks like a factory flaw and not damage under magnification. It looks like something touched the vase or adhered to the side of the vase in the kiln (see photo #19).Size: 12 3/8" tall x 5 1/4" diameterThis is a 10 day auction.
