This auction is for 1 Large Rare Keokuk Quartz Crystal Geode, that was cracked open. This one was collected in the Keokuk Geode area. As clear to light smokey color quartz crystals, with an area of fluorescence mineral in the geode that glows green under a black light. Transparent and tan color calcite crystals. Some areas of pyrite specks can be seen on the quartz crystals with a light on it, and also inside the quartz crystals. T is a spot of transparent barite crystals. It is about 5" across at the widest point . It would make a good gift for someone special, Shop now I have a limited supply, this geode was found in the lower Warsaw Formation with in the Keokuk Area, these fabulous ones are getting harder to find. I am just relaying the information that I received from personal collecting, and from a book called Fabulous Keokuk Geodes, a degree in science, and 8 other books on geodes.
