Keris madura with a beautifull ivory hilt. note the horses and the lionhead between the carvings, a typical Madurese style. madurese craftsman w influenced by the Dutch and began to copy Dutch motifs. The pendoko looks gold to me and I think its was once bigger.The blade show a nice pamor.I did not clean it because I'm not used to handle clean keris blades.The ganja is loose. The wooden scabbard (note the carved details) has a silver or is it light brass? cover.T are two small chips of the scabbard. provenance: It came to me from a woman who " had it in her family as long as she could remember". total is 49 cm long. I don't end this auction earlier. shipping to USA is 24 dollar.
