I have a mint condition Kershaw Leek framelock folder with a satin finished ZDP-189 modified wharncliffe blade, California-legal Speed-Safe assisted opening, and titanium handle slabs up for auction. The Leek is designed by world famous custom knifemaker Ken Onion, and it features ZDP-189, one of the premier super steels in the world, as its blade material. Along with the highly similar Cowry-X, ZDP-189 is considered to be the most wear resistant stainless knife steel ever developed, and it can be hardened up to absurd levels (RC 67-68) while maintaining functional toughness. Tfore, the edgeholding ability of this knife will be significantly superior to any other stainless steel, provided that the knife is not abused. The Leek listed is NIB and has never been carried, used, or resharpened. The original edge from Kershaw is very sharp. The opening action is very fast, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect. The pictures shown with the auction are of the actual knife that you are bidding on. The original box and papers are included.
