A nice vintage Keuffel & Esser slide rule with leather carry case. The rule appears to be made of a laminate it measures approx. 12.5" long, 1 5/8" wide and 1/4" high at the body - showing the slight yellowing of age. It is stamped with Pat. 1,930,852 being made in the USA, one side also bears the numbers <4160> along with the wording on one end 'Sought/Given' and 'Acid Base Salt' with the opposite side showing the number 500274, 'Sought/Given' and Oxide Elem.. All parts that should move do so with ease. The case is embossed with K&E Log Log Duplex Decitrig and a number I can't quite make out - on the metal it stamped PAT.2,000,337. T is quite a bit of wear to the leather including ink and a rubbed spot w someone's name was once written. Both could use a good cleaning but will leave that to they buyer as I don't want to damage in any way. Whether you want it to use or to add to a collection this is nice example to have.
