You are bidding on a Keuffel & Esser Co. Paragon Universal Proportional Divider number 806 in the case . This is an Precision tool crafted to the highest standards in Germany. Dividers are 10" long and will allow you to set a scale and transfer a measurement to different proportions. The thumbscrew loosens and tightens a lock that allows the other thumbscrew on the other side to smoothly slide the dividers fulcrum point along a set of gears. This allows the dividers to be set at different scales. A high-end engineering tool that will find many uses for the technical drawer, layout work and general shop work. Divider is in like new condition in original felt lined box and comes with a table of settings. If you have any questions please ask before bidding.
