Key Brass: New York Central Mohawk L-4b 4-8-4 C-5 I mported By Key Models in 1977, Made in Korea by Samhongsa. NYC "L-4b" series Mohawk Awesome detailed and fine running engine, Top notch builder did suberb job on this baby. Great running condition, used, tested with leads and runs, smoothly with can motor. The drivers show slight use. Basic cab backhead detail. With factory spare parts bag. Unpainted ! BUT !!! and rated good ....because: Due to long term storage the dye in the foam has bled into the plastic wrappers and engine leaving a red stain on the engine and tender surfaces. heavy and light, long flat surfaces are more stained the small ones, but high points are red !! Also has one loose pipe under cab engineers side, Fireman side elephant ear is coming undone ( resolder). Tender is super nice, all steps and detail, KD coupler. (Lots and lots of awesome NYC (Brass and tons of stuff) to follow over next few weeks) Excellent Original box, But I would replace foam with non bleeding kind. Owners tag on box backend ( Name and date; 2/7/77 ). Very NICE Engine .. needs some paint.... !!
