KGV-KGVI Specialized Collection Cat Val £2,500 ($4,000). This is the first part of a much larger fine used GB collection that starts at 1840 with 3 x Penny Blacks and an 1840 2d Blue on an Entire! It ends around 1960. I am auctioning the collection in 'Groups of Pages' as is. This is the first group from 1911-1952 covering the issues of King George V, King Edward VIII & King George VI with values to £1 (x 3). It includes many different definitive shades, all identified with Stanley Gibbons catalog numbers. I am no expert, but I do see the different shades and have checked the watermarks. There are quite a few rare items here including a complete set of Bradbury Wilkinson 1918 Sea Horses , no less than 38 sideways and inverted watermarks, some of which are cataloged at £100 or more, and the rare 2/6d 'Reddish Brown' re-engraved Sea Horses. All appear to be fine to superb used, but to be accurate and fair, there may be faults that I have overlooked. Overseas bidders please note: See all 12 Scans!
