Thanks.*** Check out my other sales for some unique antiques and collectibles! ITEM DESCRIPTION: Here we have the Hasbro “That Kid” doll from 1967. This doll is very scarce in any condition, but this particular example is exceptional and is truly museum quality. The doll is in new old-stock condition and I don’t have any reason to believe that it has ever been played with. I do not know if it talks anymore as I won’t mess with aging electronics. I would assume that due to its age that it will not talk anymore, but you may have a pleasant surprise. There is absolutely no corrosion in the battery compartment. All of its parts are present (hat, slingshot, etc.) and all aspects of this doll are in new condition. The “That Kid” doll is considered the first electronic interactive doll and it certainly was ahead of its time, especially considering that this doll was manufactured 45 years ago. I’ve done an aggressive internet search and was not able to find any other example that is in unused condition and still possesses its original box. It’s hard to describe how rare this example is.
