Up for adoption is Kida from Annette Himstedt. She is from the 2005 series Children of the World and represents Egypt. She stands 32 2/3 inches tall. Has real human hair wig, glass mouth-blown eyes made in Germany, her outfit is designed by Annette Himstedt. The sculpt for Kida was a double use that year.
Kida is # 95 out of an edition size of 713. Kida will come in the outfit shown in the above pictures. I have included a picture from the Annette Himstedt Catalog ( picture # 2) so you can see Kida is in her complete original outfit. Kida is a one time owner doll and her hair style has been changed. Kida did have an unfortunate accident and sustained a rub on her left cheek this is shown in picture #3. Kida also has one small ink stain on her right leg, it is very small and I almost didn't see it when I went to redress her. But I am honest and want to represent the true condition of this doll. I have tried to show the ink stain in picture #4 however it is so tiny I don't think it shows. The last issue is Kida was on a doll stand so t are some rubs on the torso and she does have the usual rub marks these dolls tend to get just existing on her arms and legs. Dispite her flaws this is one adorable doll and she retailed for $405.00 when new. Tfore I am starting her bidding at $200.00 but will require buyer to pay actual shipping and insurance costs. Kida will come with original COA, outfit shown, original box and shipper. Kida has been in my private collection on display in a climate controlled smokefree home.
