This clock is from the CRS Clock Collection, the upper end division, of Sligh Clock Co. The clock is used and in the orginial carton. No expense was spared in this high quality clock. Sligh Clock had a reputation for the best quality available and the Charles R. Sligh Clocks were the the top of the Sligh Clock Collection. Beveled glass in the front and back door. The Glass is held on with wood retainer, the way quality furniture was made. Hand rubbed Cherry finish. Brass fret work in the sides with accusal cloth lets the sound out. The movement is make by Kieninger Clock Co. of Germany and features a automatic night shut off feature ( will shut off the chime from 10P PM to 7:15 AM), triple chimes, self correction chime and self setting beat for trouble free performance.The tunned 9 bells create a beautiful chime. The clock also features a working moon dial and calendar window. Note the fine serpentine hour and minute hands. The chimes played are Westminster, Saint Michael and Whittington. H=15 1/2" D=9" W= 11 3/4". This clock retailed for $2875 in 1989, it is in good running condition.
