Here is a first book club edition of Harper Lee's classic 1960 novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, complete with its original first edition dust jacket that features a rear cover photo of the author, credited to Truman Capote. There is also a printed quote from Capote on the front inside of the dust jacket. Soon after the book was published, Lippincott replaced the back photo of Harper Lee with some blurbs, so only the true first editions, book club or book store editions, feature the photo. VERY MINIMAL wear to boards (only a slight bend and tiny bit of wear to the top front and back corner of the book itself. Wear to original dust jacket (as my photos show). Very tight and square binding; very clean, bright and crisp text. Coming from my smoke free home. Thanks for looking! : ) Check out my other items !
