DESCRIPTION: ~ WW 2 , unmolested leather A-2 Flight Jacket ~ WOW !! . Named to a 34 Mission, Waist Gunner : Louis Drecktraw. This is a wonderful :"Air Force US Army ...size 38 Leather Flight Jacket.This retains both the makers tag and the size tag below it.It also still has the fairly rare small cloth tag inside the pocket .This was made by J A Dubow and was made with first class leather .This company was one of the premier makers of WW2 leather flight jackets.It has that worn patina that we are all drawn to,but without the traditional stiffness that plagues many vintage leather flight jackets. Overall condition: just suberb, has that soft worn patina of war time usage . The jacket has a great mellow color that only the passage of time and usage can deliver.It is very supple and is very wearable if this your desire.Has the original fully functional Talon zipper.The liner is original and complete, has no noticable wear.The waist and sleeve knits appear original have some wear and light mothing ,(which is standard for 60+ year old flight jackets) .To the left front is period sewn Alley Oop Squadron Patch.This patch represents the 325th Bomb Squadron ,92nd Bomb Group 8th Air Force .This Jacket was acquired directly from the Estate of the Veteran .With the jacket comes a Killer 50th Wedding Anniversary Program which tells of: the mans
