DESCRIPTION is a Killer Clovis found in Austin Texas in the early 70's, 3 1/8" long, nice high grade piece, the flaking on this piece is extrodinary, too bad it suffered an impact fracture in ancient paleo times, but the Indians did fool with the tip a bit and tried to straighten it out with a few flakes, shows use wear over all the anceint damage, so they kept on using it as a knife I guess, the flaking on the rest makes up for it, this long and slender beuty is just a nice piece and display really well as it is, nice correct rolled grinding to about 1" of the basal edges, lightly fluted and micro-serrations on the blade edges, this would be a $1500 clovis if the tip was t!!!
