is a flawless early 50s Hawaiian dress, bright sateen cotton, made in Honolulu for Desmond's! This beauty is in excellent condition, the elastic sides still springy and fitted. It has a shelf bust with soft built in bra and adjustable straps. It says size 12, but that is yesteryear's size. (Marilyn Monroe was a 12 back then) This rare frock measures up to 37 bust-28 waist, due to the elastic, and is full at the hip (very wide skirt!) Shoulder to hem is approx 43." I see no flaw in the incredible sun dress! Thanks for looking and please see my other eclectic items!
