I have owned the rug for about 30 years but it is older than that; not too sure how old tho'. The rug was made in Turkey (I know this because the label says so - see picture) but I don't know what the material is; it's fairly heavy and could be anything from camel hair, wool, cotton or a mix of all sorts. The colours used are still quite bright - red, green, gold, blue, white, black with an odd zig-zag pattern. It measures 5 ft X 4' 3" (basically - because the edges are a bit stretched in places). The total weight is about 3 Kilos. Considering its age it doesn't show much wear (if any).
