What household is complete without a cookie jar? Certainly not this Corgi household! They're making sure they have their special cache and they're off to spread the word. The Corgi on top is throwing her head back in delight holding the sign which tells it all - they've got a full load of cookies in this Cookie Express! The driver hangs out, driving goggles on, tongue flying in the wind, waving to one and all! Notice the paws reaching out behind him trying to grab a cookie. The youngsters have jumped on the back, just in time. I've created a special cookie jar for your dog treats. I had in mind trying to create an aura like the Good Humor truck or the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile! The jar, proper, was poured in a mold, and when released, I added my original artwork for completion. The Corgi on top sits on a bed of grass, leaves and forget-me-nots, all of which have been hand made by me from clay. The jar itself stands 5 inches tall; 8 inches long and 4 1/4 inches wide. The whole piece stands 9 inches tall to the ear tip; 9 3/4 inches long and 6 inches wide. This is one of my original, one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork, sculpted from clay, hand painted, and fired to over 2000 degrees. It is then glazed using a food-safe glaze, and fired for a second time, achieving a glossy, waterproof finish. Each piece is signed and dated by me, Susan read more
