King George VI and Queen Elizabeth King George reigned until 1936 This is a very pretty, 71 year old Blue Transfer ware plate, commemorating the State Visit by the couple to The United States and Canada in 1939.A lovely Oak Leaf and Acorn border with a Gadroon edge and scenes of The White House,The Statue of Liberty, and The Washington Monument.The American Eagle sits at the top of the plate.In excellent condition, with no damages, no chips or scratches.
