In 2000 a six sheet sold for $189,000 and in 1999 a three sheet sold for $244,500! Other than the 1933 original which commands six figure investments, this 1956 re-release is one of the most sought after. A few years ago we sold a 1952 re-release but seasoned collectors know the 1956 release is much more desirable due to its superior artwork and brighter colors. It is just gorgeou. So if you don't currently have $100k for the 1933 poster this is the next best thing. This one sheet is completely Unrestored , so you are seeing the real deal! No hidden defects by in painting or other restoration techniques. It has fold line wear and some minor separation at cross folds. But, of course would look amazing with professional linen backing.
