The time has come to rationalize my King trombonecollection. These horns have been fun toplay (I have played each of them professionally at different times), but I have pledged the proceeds of these sales to a food pantry, so they must go. Just to be clear, though I am giving away the money from the sale of these horns, I am not giving away the horns (in other words, the proceeds go to charity, but YOU are not the charity). Still, the reserve is pretty low, so even if you’re a trombonist looking for a pea-shooter to play, you won’t find any better value than these. All three of these trombones were produced by H.N.White under the King brand. Each sports the Lion Head stamp on the mouthpiece receiver and each represents a different facet of the ‘Conservatory’ series put out by King during the 1920’s. More information on Conservatory trombones is available at , and I encourage you to take a look at the information available there rather than rely on me to get it all into this post.
