Kinjo Nippon Cobalt Blue Jeweled Vase Pheasant Bird

Description:

Vintage Japanese Nippon Vase Lovely cylinder form decorated with two jeweled oval panels, each handpainted with a landscape scene featuring a bird (perhaps a pheasant) perched in a tree. Serene sunset background Luscious cobalt blue ground color is more vibrant than most. Decoration also includes lovely gilded swag designs with roses and hexagonal panels with handpainted floral decoration. Very nice jeweled and gilded decoration on the base and rim. Also decorated with a vertical band in white, with enamel florals and lattice. Very nice Jeweling and Gilded Stippling throughout. The bottom carries the blue Nippon mark of Kinjo China (mark #43). Guarateed Period Nippon Porcelain, not a repro or fake.

Condition:

This vase is in Excellent Condition!! Absolutely no chips, cracks or repairs. The gilding is pristine and all the jeweles are intact! Lovely Period Nippon Porcelain!
