Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, Illinois Mini Jug Ready to add to your growing collection of quality stoneware is this uncommon Mini Jug that reads: "Little Brown Jug" in Fancy Script. This beauty is the work of Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick who ran their pottery together in Anna, Illinois from 1859 to 1890. Dating between 1870 and 1890, this beauty has a bulbous form, tooled spout, and strap handle . The "Little Brown Jug" is incised in very fancy script characteristic of this pottery. Stands 3" tall. Very Good Condition . Small chips around the top 1/8" of the inside of the spout, six 1/8" nibbles on the outside of the spout, and four nibbles on the bottom (1/8" to pinhead-size). A small 1/8" spot on the edge of handle looks like it is from the making. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs. Please view the full set of pictures as part of the description.
