GUARDIAN OF THE HEART ~~

Once was a magical and mighty dragon, chivalrous and gallant was he; his duty to surround a majestic castle, for he alone was granted the precious key. Full of spirit, imagination and a wealth of wisdom, the emerald dragon was genuine and smart. Protector of love, life and his kingdom; he would forever be known as "Guardian of the Heart".

This is is a very large beautiful and heavy trinket box from the Kirks Folly collection of magical fantasy jewelry. It is brand new, and will come in its large peach and gold Kirks Folly gift box made especially for it with foam inserts. It will come with angel card which lists the four pieces in this series (Moon Dreamer, Guardian of the Heart, Mermaid Magic and Fairy Wishes) I do not believe this is available any longer from the website w it did sell for $130. This is the second box in the series.

This set is done in bright antiqued goldtone and comes with 4 pieces ~

1~ the Emerald Dragon lid ,

2 ~ beautiful base with dragon wrapped around it ,

3 ~ an incredible multi-faceted rainbow Aurora Borealis huge star crystal charm with lobster claw clasp and tiny skeleton key ,

4 ~ and a beautiful Swarovski multi-faceted peridot green crystal choker necklace which measures 16" long with a 2" extender which is finished with a tiny crystal. The necklace is signed with the oval Kirks Folly signature id tag at its lobster claw clasp.

The large crystal star can be used as a pendant on the necklace or clipped to a tiny circle at the mouth of the dragon on the lid of the box! The star and necklace will come in a separate peach and gold Kirks Folly satin drawstring pouch.

The entire box measures 4-1/2" high by 3-3/4" wide. T is a large banner on the back of the castle which reads GUARDIAN OF THE HEART.

The base of the box is a castle with four Gargoyles holding a rainbow Aurora Borealis crystals, two on the front of the castle and two on the back. The entire base of the castle is draped with the dragon, he lies sleeping with tail wrapped all the way around the castle. The inside of the box is heavily enamelled with glossy swirls of gold enamel. The heart in the center is encrusted with golden crystals. The base is signed with the oval Kirks Folly signature id charm.

The lid has the large Guardian Dragon standing proudly, his entire chest is studded with Aurora Borealis crystals and his wings are spread behind. His eyes are large marquise shaped rainbow Aurora Borealis crystals and he stands among the six turrets of the castle which are enamelled. One has a lavendar flag and one is an angel with wings spread!

Once again, I have to say that this piece is many times more beautiful and bright when you have it in your hand, my photos did not come out very well. This box is very heavy, weighing a bit over a pound in weight.
