You are bidding on a limited edition 6 foot Gene Simmon’s snowman cut out that is signed by alternative rock bands A Day to Remember and Madina Lake when they visited our Manchester store. This Kiss inspired memorabilia, one of only six to have been produced, will go to the highest bidder and 100% of the money raised will go directly to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation (charity number 1129689). This cut out was featured in our Christmas window display in 2011.PULP is a proud supporter of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, whose mission is to ‘stamp out prejudice hatred and intolerance everywhere’ and to date has raised over £3000 for the charity. Following the senseless and targeted attack that led to Sophie Lancaster’s tragic death back in 2007 because of her unique and alternative dress sense, the charity was founded in her name by mother Sylvia and aims to raise awareness of prejudice against subcultures though campaigning and educational work. The Sophie Lancaster Foundation is actively lobbying parliament to drive a change in the hate crime legislation to support and protect subcultures.
