About Me:
My name is Franklin (Frank) Carter. Originally born in Charlotte, NC, I now reside in a rural area of NC, with my fiancee'. During the 70's, when Rock 'n' Roll was reaching it's peak (in my opinion), I was a budding adult (just turning 18 in 1977). So when the KISS craze hit, merchandise wise, I was past the "kiddie/toy playing" part of my life and more into the "collecting" phase. With that being said, when things like the KISS Mego dolls, lunchbox, radio, & colorforms hit the shelves, instead of running home and using the product, they were neatly put on display in my house, and later carefully packed away in storage bins. Not to brag, but I think I was one of the first KISS "collectors", was most people began collecting KISS in the 80's/90's, when the nostalgia period hit, and conventions began popping up. So, in a nut shell, these collectibles are just about as close to mint as you're going to find since the day they were shipped from the factory. Also, my father worked the local crew line for a couple of NC venues in the late 70's (mainly the Charlotte Coliseum), so a big thanks goes out to him for snagging a lot of these collectibles!
Fast foward 30 years. The fiancee' and I have decided to get hitched, which means that an expensive wedding will follow, followed by a new house. It's time for the KISS / Rock 'n' Roll collection to find a new home(s), so be sure to check my other auctions as well! Thanks for reading/bidding & good luck!
As a side note, I will be out of town until the end of July. So, after writing out item descriptions and taking pictures, my brother Steve will be handling all auctions and incoming questions, as well as the eBay account. About The Auction:
Up for auction we have a complete set of the infamous KISS Mego dolls, in excellent to near mint condition. Gene has nose and tongue paint rubbed off, as well as Ace's nose. This was caused by the dolls' noses rubbing the celephane windows when being slid into their boxes, and is a common thing with these dolls. The dolls are still attached to their cardboard backings and have never been removed. They are, however, missing the plastic bands from around their heads that held their hair in place (I think I took them off because I didn't like the way they looked while on display. Can't remember though, it's been so many years). The boxes are in very good to excellent condition for their age, as well. Complete sets in near mint condition are getting harder and harder to find these days. Starting bid is way lower than it should be (I think ToyFare listed these dolls at $250/300 a piece), with no reserve, so let the bidding war begin!

Shipping for this item will be $8.95.
Money orders should be made out to "Rock n Roll Collectibles 4 Sale / Steve C.". Like I said earlier in the "About Me" section, I will be out of town until the end of July, so my brother Steve will be handling these auctions aswell as all money transfers from buyer to seller, and all merchandise transfers from seller to buyer. If money order is received and it is made out personally to me (Frank), it will be returned. So please, make sure you make money orders out to "Rock n Roll Collectibles 4 Sale / Steve C."!
