Up for bid is a RARE piece of Authorized KISStory from the height of the first wave of KISS Mania. KISS: The Real Story was published in 1979 as an oversized book that detailed KISS's career up to that point. The book features several color and black and white pictures chronicling KISS's rise to superstardom. The book is constructed in an easy-to-read format with the band's history presented in a timeline of notable events. The book has several interesting facts, pictures, and dates about the band. This book is a must for any KISS fan who doesn't already own a copy. This particular edition is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with only normal signs of wear and age. The binding is tight, the cover is firmly attached, and all pages are present and perfectly intact. This particular book shows some SLIGHT wear from storage and use on the front and rear covers. In particular, t is some light handling wear along the spine of the book and a few diagonal stress creases along the left hand corner of the back cover. Overall, the wear (as pictured) isn't serious and certainly doesn't compromise the integrity of the book or even its appearance. I like to be precise in my descriptions so picky buyers can get a good idea of the product. The enclosed pictures are of the EXACT book that is up for auction.
