Kitmaster GNR Stirling Single 4-2-2 Loco - Well Built & Painted Loco unpowered Kitmaster GNR Stirling Single Loco 4-2-2 - Magnificent Well Built & Painted Loco - unpowered - Very Rare. Be sure to add scotrailfirst to your favourites list! 00 gauge this is a very rare model of a Stirling Single loco (unpowered). this is a well built solid model (see photos) which is weighted. all buffers and couplings are intact. the wheels and motion all turn very freely which is important with this type of kit model. the loco is built to a professional standard and comes from a collection of 15 Kitmaster models all built to the same high standard. the matt green paint is airbrushed to a high standard, and lettering and numbers are excellent. some parts of the black and brown areas may have been airbrushed before assembly. the black areas on the tender must have been hand painted as well as the detailing. the loco could possibly be motorised or used with a powered carriage or truck. This is a superb rare loco, only produced for a short period after 1959, and very few if any will be around which are built and painted to this standard.
