Kittinger Furniture Solid Mahogany Bachelors Chest Description Notes : Up for auction is this Very Nice Chest made by Kittinger Furniture! This chest of drawers has a very unique look and could easily be used in a bedroom, dining room or foyer piece. This piece should really be refinished and is being sold as I found it, t are no cracks, breaks or structural problems but the finish does need to be redone. This wood is solid mahogany, it almost appears as though this chest may have been redone at one point. This piece features 4 long drawers with solid oak interiors along with dovetail construction very typical of Kittinger Furniture. Kittinger Furniture is made in Buffalo, NY and is absolutely the "Best of the Best", their quality and workmanship is second to none! The sides have raised panels giving it a very unique appearance, I would date this piece back around 40 - 50 years. With a little TLC this chest would be a Beautiful piece!
