VINTAGE....HUGE BEER STEIN or MUG called a MASSKRUG (size) POTTERYPurchased in ERLANGEN in 1953, when stationed in Nuremberg.Kittzmann-Brau is a brewery. Seit 1712 means made since 1712, as in the beer, not the stein!!Erlangen is the city in Germany. This is for ONE STEIN only (pic of 3 is to show a few together)Please NOTE:Heavy, pottery almost 2 pounds.. (will be almost 3 pounds when shipped!)Huge, holds 1 liter (litre)...also called a Masskrug ... Size (approx)..7 1/2" x 4" (6" at handle)We have 3 of these. NONE are perfect..these are HAND FINISHED.May have dings in the pottery, or spots in the pottery or spots in the glaze.The blue logo may be dark and clear or faded. Some glaze may be missing from production.These are NORMAL and characteristic of these heavy items. No 2 are the same!NONE are cracked or broken or have been repaired.(made in a huge mold, when dried, handles are attached. Then they are FIRED in the KILN. Logo and glazes are applied, then fired again. NOTES: Lower 48 states only...... Recycled boxes/materials save money.......
