This is a functional whiskey jug for sale that is approx. 12" tall and approx. 10" wide at the spouts. It is a horribly evil looking devil and seems to command respect. It is made by Karen Labarga a folk artist living in Plantation, Florida. It has an ash glaze, and is made of stoneware, fired in a high fire gas reduction kiln. He has a beautiful glaze drip on his nose. This type of double spouted jug is called a field jug. The photos tell all. On the back is a stamp of the "king of the dead", a skull wearing a crown. Stamps are typical to most Labarga jugs. The bottom is signed and numbered. Thanks for looking. Have a Happy New Year.
