A long-billed Donald Duck stuffed doll standing 18" tall by 7 3/4" wide by 8" deep. "Tomart's Disneyana" lists the manufacturer as Knickerbocker and the year as 1936 and assigns it a reference number of D 6340. A picture can be seen in Tomart's volume 2. Donald is dressed in his original clothes and is missing only the hanging Knickerbocker tag. The figure is still stiff and stands on its own. The head and arms are articulated. The arms move up and down. The head turns side to side and I've shown it in 2 different positions. T are 2 small holes, both in his collar. One is on the back edge and is extremely small, the other is in the front below his left cheek. T are also some spots of missing fabric on the underside of the collar, but they do not go through to the top side. The collar, tie and buttons are made of felt. The jacket and cap are a velvet like material and suffer none of the flaws mentioned regarding the collar. T is some aging and soiling to the fabric body; I've had Donald for close to 30 years and have never tried to clean him. Donald's left eye appears to have been restiched at some point with a coarser thread. The tail is firmly attached and complete.
