From "Jandreau Custom Knives" of northern Maine, ( Allagash Wilderness Region ) comes this one of a kind Custom Damascus Gentlemen's Hunting Knife. The blade is Carbon Damascus with a hardness of 58-59 rc. A few minor inclusions are present in the handle end but will not effect it's performance. Vine file work on the spine adds a touch of class. The Handle is Hardened and Stabilized Maple Burl that is simply beautiful. Along with the brass Mosaic pins the handle goes well with the grained look of the blade. The t otal length is 8 1/8" with a blade length of 3 1/2", a thickness of 1/8" and is 7/8" at the widest point on the blade. A handsome handmade Leather Sheath, done in a two toned,distressed finish,comes with this knife. I've also added a hand made knife thong with real bone and wood beads. This hunter is perfect as a working field knife or as an addition to your collection. This knife is well balanced and contoured to have a great feel in your hand.
