They are made 440c Steel which keeps an edge and stainless as well. RC57-58. 9" over all length. Blade 4". I was fortunate enough to get a 1200 pound buffalo and with the help of my family, we skinned and butchered it on site. Open the attached jpg file and you will see my neice using an "S20" an I am using my "S52". My brother and nephew had custom knives from another well known knife maker and our knives honestly required resharpening 1/3 as often as theirs and that was after we skinned and butchered a wild hog!Great product. I took three different blades, the S20, the S52, the S26, and they all performed so well, I only came home with one. After using the "20 & 26" the ranch owner decided he needed them more than I did and in addition, I got an order from my nephew to make one for him and his wife!
