Adolph Galland was one of Germany's best known fighter aces with 104 confirmed kills, and one of only 27 German military personnel to be awarded the diamonds to his Knights Cross. This beautiful album page includes a post card size photo that is boldly signed by Galland in ink. The photo is affixed to the album page with clear photo corners. T is also an illustration of Galland and his wife, Heidi, taken shortly before his death, and descriptive text. The signed photo was obtained in a 1984 interview and an unedited copy of that published interview is included. After the war, Galland was a senior consultant to the West German Luftwaffe. I met both Galland and Hartmann in 1955 or 56 while a cadet at USMA West Point. Galland died in 1993. This album page comes with a 450+ page Ebook which contains personal letters from Knights Cross recipients, interviews with many (including Galland), as well as a number of informal photos of Knights Cross recipients at various reunions - including one of me with Heidi Galland, Adolf's widow that was taken at Fliegertreffen 2002 in Germany.

The very nice boldly signed hand-signed photo mounted on a descriptive album page which is in a poly holder that is punched to fit a standard 8.5" x 11" ring binder.

Over the years I have collected many autographs and have acquired numerous vintage autograph books. Unfortunately, many of those autographs were illegible and were not identified. Thus my album pages. At any time in the future no one will have a problem identifying most of my autographs.

The hand-signed photo is affixed to the album page using removable adhesive. The album page comes in a heavy poly holder that is punched to fit a standard 3-ring binder.
