A beautiful example of a Knights Templar sword from the late 1800's.The handle is ivory and is scrimshaw with the members initials and a cross.The gold plating is in exellent condition except for a few minor blemishes.The blade of the sword is etched with knights on horseback, castles, and scroll work, and is in exellent condition except for some minor surface spots near the tip. It is signed Henderson Ames Co. Kalamazoo, Mich. This sword also has the member's name (Christian E. Pfautz) etched on the scabbard and on the blade. Over all length is 36". This extraordinary sword would be a great addition for any sword or masonic collector! Good Luck!
