Wow! This is something you don't see everyday! This Knights Templar leather trunk is full of hats and other original Knights Templar items . The trunk has the name of the Knight and his lodge number "F. D. Hunt"Aztec 5 Raton, New Mexico" on the side. Inside t are 2 compartments for the hats. The trunk was made by M. C. Lilley & Co. especially for Mr. Hunt. This would be approx. circa 1890's-1910's. The contents include a chapeau style hat with an ostrich feather on top, a flat top hat, pair of wrist cuffs, 2 brushes, a belt with a very nice Knights Templar belt buckle, a hat cover for each of the hats and 2 pairs of yellow gloves. This is quite a find! The trunks are difficult to find and it is almost unheard of to find a trunk with all the original items still in it. Great piece of history! Condition of items is good, no musty smell, has been kept in a dry place all these years, trunk has a spot on top w the leather is torn (see picture) other than that items are in good used condition. Shipping is $25.00 for UPS to anyw in the US (if postal fee is more than $25 to your area, I will pay the difference). International shipping will be recalculated.
