This is a rare find. I was rummaging through my mom's attic . Inside of an old steamer trunk was this unusual regalia. I asked my mother whom it may have belonged to and she said she'd recalled her husband speaking of his Great Grandad having known a Dr. Potts and that they had some involvement in founding the Masonic Home Of VA. Beyond that I have no other information regarding this stuff. I shall try to describe it to you. There is an ornamental apron with sashes and chain mail tassels. The sword chains are probably nickle and are embossed. There is a leather belt, cuffs with four buttons ea. (one fell off but we have it). All of these pieces bear the freemasons emblem, also there is a Sigma Chi badge and Knights Templar insignias. This is tooooo coool!
