The pearls are absolutely stunning. They are a beautiful, rich off white color. The necklace weighs 5.3 ounces. These are bigger pearls measuring approximately 1/4 inch across. Some pearls are slightly longer or fatter than others which is typical of real pearls. I've also run them across my teeth and they are slightly gritty. T is a sturdy knot between each pearl. The clasp is an old fashioned filigree rectangle marked "sterling." The tongue and groove snap firmly together. The necklace measure approximately 24 inches at the smallest strand.
