NO RESERVE -- 1880s Congress One Lever oak barber chair with cast iron base. Manufactured by Theo A Kochs Company of Chicago. Distributed by The Koken Supply Company of St. Louis. This chair and the other one listed were used in a hair salon in the early 1980s. They have been in garage storage since then. They were recovered in suede leather and brass tacks. This chair later had deer skin attached to the arms, back and seat. They need to be refurbished and they will be ready to go again. Structurally in good condition. The hydraulics never worked but they are tall enough that that was never a problem. They recline for shaves. The last photos shows the chair in use at the salon. Too heavy to ship, pickup only. I will help with whatever transportation you request. E-mail with any questions. I have a total of 4 chairs. The other two are available to the winning bidders. Bid to own.
