Developed in 1935 and discontinued this year, Kodachrome was noted for its colour accuracy and stability for the professional and amateur photographic markets. The film was very popular in the 1940's to the 1970's and was used extensively on family vacations and celebrations. The film can be easily projected onto a large screen using relatively cheap slide projectors or scanned to produce excellent colour prints. This is due to a large number of slides that do not have descriptions on them.
