This is a very large Kokeshi doll, one of two older and larger doll's I am listing at this time, this one being crafted from a tree limb. This measures at 14" tall by 4- 1/4 inches wide for the head, and 3-3/4 inches on the body, although it will vary beings this is a tree limb and is not uniform in shape and size. Has a painted face and hair, then to the front is painted Mt. Fuji above hillsides lined with trees, the water with a dock below. To the side has been painted a large tree that leans out over the water, the rest being the natural wood of the limb, and does have knots, or areas w natural imperfections of the wood are. This is around 40 years old or more, has been well cared for with no damage, is a solid weighty piece. Comes from a smoke free home.
