Up for auction is a very cool lamp, a Japanese Kokeshi Doll wired for light. This vintage lamp is in good working condition, as can be seen in our first photo. My guess is that this lamp was probably produced in the 1960's. T is no shade and it comes with no bulb--the fluorescent bulb in the 1st picture was just to demonstrate that the lamp does work. It looked pretty cool, however, it gave the lamp a sort of modern look; an interesting combination of the old and the new, sort of reminescent of the Ginzu. I've been looking around, to find some sort of shade that might fit this; t are some clip-on plastic shades, sort of a half-dome, that resemble a coolie hat, that might be pretty cool.
