A nice full size issued pair to G-800580 A.G.BELL who served in the Korean conflict with the Canadian forces from 23rd August 1950 to 5th August 1952.Allen George Bell joined the army in August 1950. Posted to 1 RCR for training in November 1950 he was posted to the 25th Canadian reinforcement group and sailed for the Far East on the 21st April 1951 arriving on the 6th May. Bell served as part of the 25th CRG until December 1951 when he was posted to 2 Royal Canadian Rifles qualifiying as a leading infantryman.Bell remined with 2RCR until the 4th May 1952 when he embarked for Canada arriving home 18th May 1952. Released from the army on the 5th August 1952.25 CRG was part of the Special Force sent to Korea to bolster units already engaged in the fighting. Medals are full size court mounted properly named to G-800580 A.G.BELL. Comes with 6 pages of copied papers confirming service, medal entitlement and copy of discharge certificate.Bell was given his medals on the 23/5/56 and has signed the records in reciept.A nice pair to a soldier who served and saw action as the UN forces drove North from the Pusan perimeter.Any questions please ask,worthy of some further reserach as the papers are heavily edited.
