Immaculate 1991 Samick Squier strat in beautiful Olympic white with a stunningebony fretboard (or the darkest rosewood I’ve ever seen). Completely genuine – the screwheads show that the neck has never been off, and by the looks of it, the scratchplate too. It has been kept in the dark (literally) for 20 years. One tiny dink on the back - see pic 7, next to a Jim Dunlop plectrum for scale. Unmarked frets and quality Schaller-type tuners compliment one of the nicest strat necks I’ve ever come across – a slim C profile in pale maple with a glossy finish, perfectly complimenting the 9.5” radius inky-black fretboard. Fender-stamped vintage style bridge, with full sustain block and 54mm string spacing. American Fenders have 56mm string spacing, which some players feel places the strings too close to the edges of the fretboard. Modern Squiers have 52mm string spacing, which can leave the strings to close together for some player’s tastes. 54mm is considered the perfect balance. Full range of classic strat tones from the factory-standard pickups and five-way switch. Comes with original tremolo arm (I forgot to fit it for the pics). Sensible starting price for a classic, high quality instrument. No international bidders please. Bids from anyone with zero feedback will be cancelled – sorry, but I’ve been clear upfront.
