For all true miners candlestick collectors, this piece needs no description. How often does something so rare come up for sale? This stick is original (no repairs) and shows no sign of being used. It is inlaid with silver and, possibly, gold. On the top is the word "Korea". On one side is " Hink Up", the other side "1903-08". The bottom is nicely decorated. T is no example of this candlestick in the Wilson-Bobrink book. With such fine detailed work over the entire body, I am surprised that the thimble was left bare, but it is the original piece as you can see the awkward arrangement of the thumb lever on the other examples illustrated in the forementioned book. I will have a high reserve on this stick due to it's rarity.
