Colonies of coral grow in rings around islands in the South Pacific, forming reefs and lagoons called atolls. These beautiful encircling structures and the vivid colors of ocean currents and living coral reefs inspired the Atoll collection. Each piece is unique, with its own free-form pattern of hand-applied color. Ever since Anna Ehrner started working as a designer at Kosta Boda in 1974 her collections have proven to become very popular. In the mid 1990's she designed Atoll, another range that has expanded in a natural way by integrating new colours. The coloured veils inside the crystal make Atoll a unique splash of colour in any home. The technique with which you create these coloured veils has become something of a speciality for Anna. !
