Offered is an impressive vintage Kosta Boda "Mod" style human form art glass vase designed by Kjell Engman in the 1980's. Kjell Engman has been designing art glass for Kosta Boda since 1978 and is well known for his unusual, eye-catching and whimsical creations. This large art glass vase is quite striking and really makes a statement. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. It stands approx. 13 1/2" high with a width of 9 3/4" at the handles and weighs over 5lbs. The red ribbed glass handles (arms) gracefully rest on the lower portion of the vase. The body of the vase is clear crystal and the pedestal foot is blue. It is signed "Kosta Boda K Engman 49852" on the rim of the foot. It also retains it original Kosta Boda paper label.
