KOSTA BODA MODERN ABSTRACT GLASS/LEATHER CRUETS Blue Art glass pair of oil and vinegar cruets or decanter bottles in the shape of a man and woman with face or head shaped stoppers. The bottles were made by Kosta Boda and designed by Erik Hoglund. Both bottles are clothed in leather with painted details. The leather is embossed with the words "olio" and "aceto". The bottles have a nice details on the neck & you can see the definition of the figures arms on the sides of the bottles. The faces on the stopper are hand painted. The cruets measure 8 " tall including stopper. They are absolutely attractive & in excellent vintage condition. They are not marked. There are other examples of these bottles online but none are clad in leather. I beleive they must have been a limited edition. Would make a great addition to your Swedish or Scandanavian Art Glass Collection, Danish modern Style Home. With the Italian leather clad work they would also go with a Italian Modern or Murano Glass Collection. The bottles probably date to the 1960's. Enjoy it! We do combine shipping. Thanks for visiting!
